About us

Half scale mannequins are based in east Sussex and reflect a passion for pattern cutting and design.

The half size dress forms are little works of art in themselves as they have been lovingly cast, dressed and put on their stands at our workshops here in Fairlight in East Sussex using traditional artisan skills in sewing, woodwork and mold making.

Created by women with many years’ experience in the fashion industry, our ladies are an updated and modern version of the half scale dress form that was common in workrooms and classrooms in times gone past.

We think these are wonderful tools to work with and will benefit both students and professional fashion designers alike.
